Laser Eye Surgery (LASIK) in Istanbul, Turkey
More Infos: blumeditravel.com Laser Eye Surgery, LASIK, in Istanbul, Turkey. Lasik surgeries are performed by Dr. Nusret Bas. There are more than 10 types of refractive laser eye surgery that enable people to see without glasses or contacts. LASIK eye laser surgery is one of them. Other treatments are; * Intralase Femtosecond Lasik for Hyperobic patients, patients with thin or flat corneas. * Custom Lasik: For patients who have night vision problems and high order aberation. * Monovision Lasik: For patients who are over 40 and don’t want to use glasses in near and far distance. * Lasek: A newer version of PRK. For patients with extreme thin and special corneas LASIK is the combination of a surgical incision (keratomileusis) and the laser technique. The incision technique in conjunction with the preciseness of the laser provides for a good predictability and for a quick rehabilitation period for even high refractive errors. LASIK corrects vision by re-shaping the cornea, which is the transparent outer layer of the eye. Through the re-shaping process, visual disorders such as hyperopia, myopia, and astigmatism also are corrected.

Product Description
This up-to-date and comprehensive set of two CD-ROM discs provides a superb collection of official Federal government documents on the subject of laser eye surgery (LASIK). For many people, laser eye surgery can correct their vision so they no longer need glasses or contact lenses. Laser eye surgery reshapes the cornea, the clear front part of the eye. This changes its focusing power. There are different types of laser eye surgery. LASIK – laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis – is one of the most common. Many patients who have LASIK end up with 20/20 vision. But, like all medical procedures, it has both risks and benefits. Only your eye doctor can tell if you are a good candidate for laser eye surgery. For patients, practical information is provided in clearly written patient education documents. For medical professionals, doctor reference tools and texts have detailed technical information and clinical background material. There is no other reference that is as fast, convenient, and portable – everything you need to know, from the federal sources you trust. LASIK Surgery on a Nystagmus Patient
On Thursday, Dec 10, I put my sight on the line and underwent LASIK eye surgery at Will Vision and Laser Centers in Vancouver, Washington. Dr. Brian R. Will has extensive experience in the field, and felt confident we could achieve success despite the fact that I am a nystagmus patient (my eyes shake back and forth rapidly, and uncontrollably). The latest Visx Star S4 IR with CustomVue and Active Eye Tracking has some amazing capabilities. It is now possible to treat Nystagmus patients. I searched far and wide before I found a Doctor I felt comfortable with. Prior to surgery, my glasses could correct my vision to a point somewhere between 20/40 and 20/50. Just outside the DMV requirements for getting a Driver’s License. At the one-day postoperative exam, I tested at 20/30 in one eye, and 20/40 in the other. I’m now 11 days post-LASIK and I couldn’t be happier. My visual acuity has gradually improved, to the point I think both eyes are around the 20/30 range. For me, a nystagmus patient with optic nerve hypoplasia, this is the best I’ve ever seen in my LIFE! Even better than with RGP contact lenses (which I could not tolerate). my ONLY visual side-effect has been a haze or halo around bright light sources at night, but that is already starting to decrease. No pain or discomfort whatsoever, no starbursts, no double-vision, etc. Recovery has been a dream. I use my rewetting drops religiously, Refresh Plus during the day, and Refresh Celluvisc gel drops at night. I’ve also …
