I’ve been seeing something weird after my laser surgery?

I know I should be asking my doctor about this but the retina office is closed today since it’s the weekend. Well anyways, I had a very small retina tear. My doctor explained that I have bigger eyes than normal and that i have myopia (near sightedness) which caused it to make a small tear. Something like that. He said that laser surgery should probably do the job and fix the retina tear and that if it doesn’t work then I would need to do the surgery involving blood and that band thing.

Anyway. So I had the laser surgery during mid July and for these past few days I’ve been seeing something strange. He told me not to exercise or jump for a few days but I didn’t. I did however this month and I’ve been seeing these flashing spots the color of lightning. It usually appears in the same spot and it comes and goes really quickly. Yesterday I saw it a couple times like maybe 6 times in a day. I had the retina tear in my periphal and i saw the spot on my bottom right of only my left eye (where I had my surgery). Is anything wrong with this? Of course I’ll go to doctor but I just want an answer because I am very impatient for waitign three days just to ask my doctor about my health lol.

Touching your eyes after laser surgery?

Okay, me and my brother are having an argument over laser surgery. He told me that after a person has laser surgery, they cannot touch their eyes or the flap would mess up and destroy their vision. I argued and said that they can touch their eyes as long as their not to rough. He also said that they can’t play any sports and if something hits their eyes, they become blind. I was wondering who is right. Also, are these problems for lasik, prk, or what.

Thanks. Please do not answer this question unless you have some knowledge of the subject.

black spot vision on my right eye after laser surgery?

What are these black spots vision im seeing after my laser surgery?
I have been diagnosed with diabetes, and it has affected my right eye vision. I had my 3rd session of laser surgery today. Just few hours after the treatment, i woke up and i see black spots floating only on my right eye, since my left eye isnt affected at all. What are these spots? Are they a cause of the surgery or my retina is damaged or is it going to gradually fade away after few hours later?

How old do you have to be to get contacts and/or get laser eye surgery?

I’m 14 and I’m trying to get contacts the school year starts. My glasses get in the way. Kids that were in my classes have had contacts and they were only 12/13 at the time.
And if i’m able to get contacts would I be allowed to pick the color I want? cause I have a stigmatism in both eyes.
And if contacts cant fix my stigmatism could I get laser surgery at this age?

my eye feels like its burning?

well a little over a week and a half ago i had laser surgery in my left eye because i had a small hole in my retina. A few days after the surgery my eye felt fine, but then about a week later both my eyes started to burn at random times during the day and the only way for it to stop was to close my eyes for about 5 minutes. i went to the er yesterday and they said that my vision is fine and there is no infection, but they recommended me to see a specialist tmrw. what do you think is causing my eyes to burn like this?
